A body of work that questions the structures we inherit

Two titles. One available now. One on its way. Each applies careful structural analysis to the assumptions that shape contemporary life — assumptions that rarely receive serious scrutiny.

The Ledger of Tears

The world is full of wonder, but it is also full of intrigue and danger. Just like an iceberg, what is seen and knowable is only the tip. In a world where the rich and powerful rule not with an iron fist, but with an indomitable will that surpasses the understanding of an average person. The weak and the powerless are nothing more than fuel for a corporate machine, fodder for those hungry enough to devour and pawns in a never-ending game of political chess. How can anyone fight back when all the infinite resources of a global empire are at hand?

What gives one person rights when another does not have it? Where does morality stem from? If there is no absolutes, and everything is relative, then at what point does morality become nothing more than an opinion? Whilst society frowns upon things as a whole, society in general have tolerated some pretty awful things. Slavery and warfare was once upon a time standard fare in society. Opposition views of this was just opinion.
